Old Gs come up short in result but not performance

Old Gs came up short against Bromley in pre-season - falling to a 50-7 defeat. However an under-strength side, missing upwards of 8-10 starting regulars kept battling throughout and gave a good account of themselves. Bromley were deserving of their victory - a young, bright, enterprising side that were full of energy and creativity

Robbie Daniels and Will Payne shone in their debuts at this level, with Daniels especially putting in an excellent all round display that was capped off with a deserved try.

Despite the result, the game adds extra match fitness as the squad builds towards the start of the Kent 1 season on 21st September.
