Everyone at Old Gravesendians is saddened to hear of the tragic loss of a wonderful member of our rugby family, Ella Thomson.

Ella was a player at Aylesford Bulls, and a key part of our successful clustered girl’s team – that has players from Old Gs, Aylesford and Sheppey.

Ella was a joy for her teammates and coaches to be around, both on and off the pitch. No nonsense on the field yet showing true rugby values and spirit.

United as a rugby family, Old Gravesendians shares our condolences with Ella's parents, family, friends, and everyone at Aylesford Bulls Rugby Club.

She will be sorely missed as a team-mate, friend, and a wonderful person.

Rest in Peace, Ella.

In her memory, Ella’s family have launched a fundraising page for their chosen charity, Kent Air Ambulance. We will be donating half the profits from this year’s Old Gs Christmas raffle as a small show of our support to a wonderful team-mate and friend.
