Old Gs return to league action on Saturday as they welcome Kings College Hospital to North Kent. With Old Gs sitting 4th in Kent 1, with their visitors one place higher in 3rd, the contest will not doubt be another entertaining affair, following on from Old Gs excellent performance in a closely fought victory last time out against Cranbrook. Both sides have seven Kent 1 wins to their name, with the team that comes out on top on Saturday starting to pull away from the the mid table sides.
Last season there were two contrasting results in the games between the sides. Kings secured a dominant victory in Dulwich, with Old Gs returning the dose in this respective fixture last year in the snow. With honours even a year ago - which side will game the upper hand this season?
In regards to team selection Old Gs make a couple of alterations from a fortnight ago. The starting pack remains the same though with Paul Mitchell, Andrew Kidd and Brett Buckingham in the front row. They are joined by the happy couple of skipper Frazer Barnes and the young buck Joe Martin, sporting a lovely moustache for the ladies, in the second row. The back row is once again Ash Bourne, Chris Daniels and Andy Morris.
Grant Roe and Matt Holdstock are at 9 and 10 respectively. Mark Fenton-Smith makes a return at 12, with Matt Thompson sliding into the 13 shirt. Ryan Lockyer, James Hood and Chris Johnson complete the line up in the back 3.
The replacements, who will no doubt all have a big role to play, are Ross Coleman, Jack Nash and Richard Parish.
Kick off is slightly earlier this week at 2pm - all support is welcome as always.
