Old Gs travel to Southwark on Saturday as they look to continue their promising early season form in Kent 1. They travel to the Southwark 'cage' off the back of a big win against New Ash Green and will hope to repeat the enterprising performance in this tougher test.
There will be no opportunity for Old Gs to rest of their laurels though. Southwark have progressed in recent seasons and if Old Gs are not on song they will be for a tough afternoon against a robust physical pack and pacy set of wide backs. A win for Old Gs though would see them with a 4 out of 5 win ratio from the opening set of Kent 1 games. Only a strong away performance will get them to that point.
Old Gs make a number of changes for this fixture. However the front row of Brett Buckingham, Matt Johnson and Lewis Moss remains intact. Jack Nash moves into the 2nd row where he partners skipper Andy Morris. Chris Daniels moves into the 6 shirt, with Andy Kidd and Sam Baker completing the back row.
Doug Wilson is at 9, where he has a new colleague at 10, as Mike Hodge shifts to fly half from centre. Matt Thompson and Mat Wilson are the beauty and the beast as a centre pairing, with Richard Parish and Ryan Lockyer on the wings. Chris Johnson completes the backline at full back.
The replacements are Paul Mitchell, Ash Bourne and Steve Thompson.
Kick off at Southwark is at 3pm and all support for the Old Gs is welcome!
