Old Gs will look to continue their early season good form on Saturday as they welcome Sheppey to Gravesend.
Following a promising opening day victory against Whitstable, where they ran in a number of well worked scores, Old Gs will be looking to up their game against a strong Sheppey side who have returned to Kent 1 this year after a tough time in London South East 3. Knowing the tough test that awaits, Old Gs will need to be on the money from minute 1, avoiding the slow start that occurred last week.
There are a few changes this week with first seasonal appearances in the squad for Ed Wright, Joe Martin, James Hood and Mat Wilson.
The front row is unchanged with Brett Buckingham packing down next to Matt Johnson and Lewis Moss. After his time with the foxes, Jack Nash moves into the skippers den, where he will look to learn the language of the second row as he accompanies Frazer Barnes. Chris Daniels, Andrew Kidd and Sam Baker complete the pack.
Update - in a late injury change Chris Daniels drops out. Andy Morris comes in at second row with Jack Nash moving to 6.
Doug Wilson comes in for the injured Grant Roe at 9, with Matt Holdstock still at 10. The centre pairing remains the same in the form of Ben Wadsworth and Matt Thompson. James Hood returns to the wing, where he completes the back 3 that includes Ryan Lockyer and Chris Johnson.
Old Gs replacements are Ed Wright, Joe Martin and Mat Wilson.
Kick off is at 3pm and all support is welcome!
