Old Gs face their last away fixture of the season this Saturday as they travel to RBS. Games between the two sides have proven to be exciting affairs in recent seasons and Saturday is likely to be no different with little separating the teams in the Kent 1 table. With only two league fixtures remaining Old Gs will be looking to finish the season strongly - starting against a tough RBS outfit. RBS are generally strong up front with some powerful ball carriers in the back row. Old Gs will need to nullify this threat if they want to secure victory.
As is customary this season there are mutiple changes to the Old Gs line up, with 7 personnel changes to the matchday 18! There are returns to action for Lewis Moss, Phil Costley, Doug Wilson, Matt Wilson and Ben Wadsworth, with places on the bench for Ollie Goodchild and Mark Bishop.
In the front row, Moss returns to accompany fellow prop Brett Buckingham and hooker Andy Kidd, who moves from his back row position of the previous HSBC fixture. Joe Martin and Frazer Barnes continue their love affair in the second row. Andy Morris will keep his physical contact going with the pair though (they say 3 is a crowd), as he packs down at 6. Costley returns on the openside, with Jack Nash completing the back row.
Doug Wilson is back in the 9 shirt, with Matt Holdstock continuing at fly half. Ben Wadswoth comes into the 12 shirt with the Old Gs rhino, Matt Wilson, appearing at outside centre. Steve Thompson starts on the wing where he is joined in the back 3 by Ryan Lockyer and Chris Johnson.
The replacements are Paul Mitchell, Ollie Goodchild and Mark Bishop.
Kick off is at 3pm and all support is welcome! Any female supporter attending may choose to note that it is RBS ladies day on Saturday - with unlimited prosecco for £5!
