Old Gs welcome old adversaries New Ash Green to Bronte View on Saturday for a home Kent 1 fixture. Old Gs will be looking to get back to winning ways following a disappointing loss away at Sittingbourne last week. New Ash Green make the short journey across North Kent off the back of a loss themselves last week against Gillingham, meaning that extra spice is added to this local derby as both teams look to kickstart their seasons.
In regards to selection Old Gs welcome back a couple of players from the treatment table as Lewis Moss and Pat Foreman make their first appearances in and Old Gs squad this season, with Matt Wilson making his first start following a good display off the bench last week. Mat Coomber also returns from injury in the back row.
Brett Buckingham and Eric Roye pack down in the front row, either side of the versatile Andy Kidd who moves to hooker from the back row. Andy Morris and Frazer Barnes continue cuddling in the 2nd row, with Mat Coomber, Phil Costley and Jack Nash in the back row.
Doug Wilson and Matt Holdstock continue at 9 and 10 respectively. Pat Foreman makes his first Old Gs home appearnace for 14 years, following his return to the country, as he is welcomed back from injury to wear the 12 shirt. The skillful Greg Humphreys is next to him at outsde centre. Ryan Lockyer and Matt Wilson are on the wings with Chris Johnson returning to full back having stepped up to 13 last week at late notice.
The replacements are Lewis Moss, Kevin Spain and Jamie Potter.
