Old Gs women vs Dartford Valley women - Sunday 12th December - 2pm

This Sunday the newly formed Old Gs women’s side will play their first ever fixture.

They travel away to Dartford Valley for a 2pm kick off, in a proud moment for everyone associated with Old Gs.

The side was formed this summer and after 4 months of training and recruitment the team are ready to take to the field for the first time.

All support is welcome to cheer on the squad as they look to put into practice what they’ve worked on in recent months.

Old Gs coach Stacey Care commented:

‘I’m really looking forward to seeing the hard work put into place for the game. The ladies have put heart and soul into training, and have come so far in the 4 and a half months since the team formed. All the team are really excited to get out their for the first time!’

Old Gs women’s captain, Leah Poppy shared her thoughts on the progress of the team so far:

‘I am so proud of how far the team have come since the womens was launched 4 and a half months ago. The team are going to give it their all and I can’t wait to see how well they do.’

Leah will unfortunately miss the game on Sunday, meaning Jen Kirby will lead the team out as captain on the day.

Be there on Sunday to see first hand the progress our women’s team has made. Don’t miss out!
