Old Gs release updated International Tickets criteria for members

Please see below the updated club rules around member access to International tickets. This criteria will come into use ahead of the 2018 6 Nations. Further details on how to apply for 2018 6 Nations tickets will be released in December.

England Rugby International Tickets are governed by RFU Rules and Terms & Conditions. A copy of the Rules is available on request from the Ticket Secretary Les Beven by email at lesbeven@blueyonder.co.uk. Tickets are allocated to paid up OGRFC members and official sponsors in accordance with these Rules. There are penalties for any abuse of the Rules.

OGRFC has an allocation from England Rugby of 19 tickets in season 2017/18 for each home match. Tickets for away matches are allocated on a reciprocal basis between England Rugby and the other RFUs in the Six Nations. For season 2017/18 this is either two or four tickets.

The OGRFC Management Committee is keen that members should have as equal an opportunity as possible to apply for tickets based on supply and demand. The review of these arrangements for season 2017/18 are planned to take effect for the Six Nations 2018. The key points of this review are outlined below.

1. Tickets for England matches are available for fully paid up members (subs and debts) to apply for. Tickets cannot be sold on or given to another party.

2. Tickets will be sold to members at face value plus a £2.00 OGRFC administration fee.

3. A closing date will be set for ticket applications by members to the Ticket secretary by email and this will be notified to members on the Club’s website.

4. A member must be fully paid up in terms of subscriptions and any other debts prior to the closing date in order for an application to be valid.

5. Members will be limited to an initial application of two tickets for each England match. Members can express an interest in more tickets should there be a surplus or in case any additional tickets become available from England Rugby.

6. Member ticket applications will be drawn after the closing date under the supervision of the Management Committee.

7. Ticket costs and administration fees must be paid by members by the date of collection.

8. Any tickets allocated to members but no longer required must be returned.
