Following a sharp increase in the number of children joining Old Gravesendians Youth Rugby Section last year, we have made a number of changes which will be effective this year. We have also been able to recruit new coaches over the Summer who will be joining us on Sundays.

We are pleased to announce that, with the section growing at a strong rate, Gavin Bright has been appointed as Director of Youth Rugby for 2018/19. Gavin will oversee all aspects of coaching and coaching development.

We will be running 4 age groups this season, each with a dedicated and qualified coaching team. These are as follows:

Under 5s
Coaches - Mat Coomber, John Meade & Matt Pink
This is for boys and girls aged 3 years old and going up to those Children in the Registration Year at school.

Coaches - Dave Boyer & Lewis Roberts
This is for boys and girls in Year 1 at school.

All new players are welcome to come along and try it out. If you currently are part of Old Gravesendians Youth Rugby, why not bring a friend along too?

Registration Day is Sunday 2nd September at 10am at Old Gravesendians Rugby Club and training will take place every following Sunday in term time. Annual Subscriptions are only £20 for the entire season.
