60 seconds is back.... With Joe James

It's been away for a while but 60 seconds is back.

After an absence for a year or two the club is bringing back the regular 60 seconds articles, where we will profile members of the club, to find out what makes them tick and get an insight into what they love about Old Gs.

First up in the relaunch is Joe James, who joined the club in the Covid summer of 2020. Despite not having pulled on the blue and blue in a competitive fixture, Joe has thrown himself into Old Gs life.

With the build of a sturdy hooker, Joe runs like a centre, even though his commitment to CrossFit has for some reason still not turned him into Sonny Bill-Williams. His distant dreams of being a goalkicking front row are represented by his flamboyant boot choices - which replicate his colourful personality.

As keen for a pint as he is for a scrum, Joe is a walking talking encyclopedia of the merits of each different can of brewdog. He has been a great addition to the Old Gs family, despite his dodgy pizza choices and the random piston noises he makes when he runs. We look forward to him doing some damage on the pitch as we enter the 21-22 season.

As part of this newly found love affair with the finest rugby club in Kent he spared us a minute of his time to answer a few questions.
